At the smartXautomation Award 2025, presented as part of the event "Industry meets startups - two worlds, one future" organized by BadenCampus and wvib Schwarzwald AG, young technology companies presented their innovations for SMEs.
The search was on for the startup that stands out with particular relevance, high potential for cooperation with industry, strong market potential and a convincing presentation.
The jury - Stefan Neininger (BANSBACH), Dr. Raphael Klesen (Friedrich Graf von Westphalen), Stephanie Maertin (Maertin & Co. AG) and Matthias Schüle(Black Forest Medical Group) - evaluated the pitches in terms of innovative strength, practical relevance and feasibility.
The award went to VUSE XR from Freiburg!
With their XR technology for industrial applications, the team impressed the jury with its high added value for production processes and a strong vision for the future of industry.
The prize includes a partnership with the BadenCampus, including networking services with companies, a voucher package from the wvib Academy and prize money of €1,000.
