Improvement of a process step

The aim of the project with Framo Morat was to explore the possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI) in production and to gain further experience in the field of AI by means of a test trial. The aim was to improve the efficiency of a specific process step in the turning shop in terms of time and quality, taking into account the relevant parameters.

Role of BadenCampus

BadenCampus provided Framo Morat with the right start-up from its community, GaussML. A successful kick-off was followed by a test run on an existing product. GaussML used various input parameters such as cutting speed and other machine parameters to develop optimization proposals. These led to a significant reduction of 66% in the time required for the process step.
