The Black Forest Hackathon 2025 is just around the corner - take part and develop innovative solutions for real industrial problems in just 48 hours! From May 9 to 11, you will have the chance to work on pioneering projects together with other creative minds at the Freiburg Innovation Center.
We are looking for 100 hackers from all fields: programmers and engineers who bring their coding magic to the table, data scientists and AI enthusiasts who crack the toughest challenges, designers and UX professionals who make ideas tangible, and business innovators and entrepreneurs who think beyond the code. Whether you're a student or a professional, a beginner or an expert - you've come to the right place!
You can expect practical challenges from companies such as Liebherr, SEW-EURODRIVE, Balkon.Solar e.V., badenova and KOCH Freiburg GmbH. Participation is free and catering is included. There is also €6,000 in prize money for the best teams. You will benefit from direct exchange with companies and experts as well as inspiring keynotes from Michael Lauk (CDO, B. Braun Group) and Andreas Blattmann (Co-Founder, Black Forest Labs; founder of Flux).
