Collaborations between companies and start-ups offer many synergies - in terms of technology, sales, finance and culture. However, if the topic is approached without a clear plan and awareness of possible pitfalls, disillusionment often follows and the potential remains untapped. Thanks to our many years of experience with start-ups and companies and their cooperation initiation and implementation, we know the challenges and can develop suitable strategies with your company to find suitable start-ups for a value-creating collaboration.

Our scouting process - this is how we proceed:

Our scouting process has been tried and tested many times and is constantly being refined. We search for startup partners for your company in an efficient five-step process:

Define search request
We define the thematic focus of the search. In addition, the form of cooperation, degree of maturity or geographical origin of the start-ups can be narrowed down.

Place tender
The call will be distributed in our network of accelerators, universities and funds - anonymously or as a campaign for visibility in the ecosystem.
3
Implement scouting
We search national and international databases for the search profile. We prepare a longlist of suitable start-up teams.

Pre-qualify teams
We create detailed profiles for the 10 - 12 teams with the best fit and present them in a workshop. They are prioritized and open questions are collected for clarification.

Select partner
Meetings are held with the shortlisted teams to get to know each other. The final teams are selected and the cooperation can begin!

Our broad embedding in the startup ecosystem

We are well networked not only in the German and European startup ecosystem, but also with accelerators, investment funds, universities and other funding institutions and also use a whole range of national and international databases to find suitable startups. Thanks to our intensive support of over 150 start-ups and the screening and collaboration of many more, we can make a very good assessment of how far the teams are and whether a cooperation can bring added value, if necessary as part of a due diligence. We are also happy to help during the collaboration.
